Cica post-care cream has been formulated to treat sensitive and damaged skins. Its formulation is based on powerful ingredients that calm the skin immediately and work to repair tissue damage. Titrated Extract of Centella asiatica, better known as CICA or Tiger grass, is a highly purified composition of some of the most powerful molecules found within this plant. CICA works to repair damaged skin faster and to restore skin integrity by boosting the vital proteins within the dermis and by offering a soothing effect.

STEP 1: Cleanse the skin and tissue or towel dry.

STEP 2: A serum can be applied prior to the moisturiser (optional).

STEP: Take a small amount of the moisturiser and massage it into the skin in an upward circular movement. It can be applied twice per day.

This product is recommended for anyone suffering from redness and inflammation due to dry skin. We also recommend this moisturiser to be used after aesthetic procedures, skin remodelling and it can also be used to firm the skin and treat stretch marks.

The product texture is an ultra-soft and comforting oil-in-water emulsion that provides intense nutrition to the skin.

Our main plant extract that we use in this formula is produced from wild centella asiatica harvested in Madagascar. This particular botanical variety is more stable in composition of pentacyclic triterpenes (actives), and our product has a   pharmacological profile that contains a high content of actives.

In our formulation we combine CICA with Provitamin B5 (panthenol) known for its properties to hydrate and restore the skin integrity. Applied locally, panthenol penetrates the epidermis where it is absorbed by the skin cells and transformed into pantothenic acid, this is where it works to increase hydration in the stratum corneum. In addition, it helps to strengthen the hydrolipidic film, preventing water loss and dehydration.
